Steampunk Style

Hello and welcome to my blog everyone. I have found a new love for steampunk jewellery. On the 16/2/2014 after lunch me and my mum sad down at our dining table and created my very fist pieces of steampunk jewellery. It’s a steampunk bird. I showed it to my friends at school and they were all saying what type of bird it could be. I just said that it was a steampunk bird. I spent two or three days looking on Google at steampunk things and to give me ideas. This is what I looks like.

I used Sculpey clay, watch pieces, a plastic eye and some cog beads I got from Spotlight.

Steampunk: Steampunk is a mixed style of mechanical and natural things. It’s based around the Victorian times because that is when machines and technology started to come into the world.

What to you think of my steampunk bird and what do you think I should make next?
